THE ELOMI PORTRAIT PROJECT

The Elomi Portrait Project commissioned women artists to create portraits of fuller-figured women based on IBM Watson data about them. The exhibit unveiling included a panel hosted by OKREAL.

IBM Watson Reveals Plus-Size Women to be Human People

—through our campaign to launch UK plus-size lingerie brand Elomi in the US last fall.

It was inspired by the  way fuller-figured women are often portrayed in media and advertising: as bodies. First.

So, using digital footprint data from IBM Watson, we dared artists to depict five Elomi-sized women like—wait for it—people.💥 With substance. Stories. Successes.

In addition to a global brand social media overhaul,  the campaign included a pop-up  art exhibit activation in NYC that showcased the finished portraits. Each captured the side of plus-size women the eye can't see. And pop culture rarely shows.

We showed it. And then some.

My kinda revealing lingerie.

[THE EVENT]

Following the launch event, the portrait exhibit was open to the public.
